DISREPELLANTS #1

Published 2022. An anarchic ramble through my paper stash, an oversaturated Frankenstein's monster of spliced textures.

To build the collages that comprise Disrepellants, I adhered to a few simple rules:

1. Glue first, think later.
2. Works in progress could be improved only by adding more material, not ever by removing material.
3. No source material could be rejected on the grounds that it was cheesy, chintzy, cheap, or otherwise "low."

It made a glorious mess of my home for a few weeks and then cohered into a kind of unity.
